Terry Lynne Newport age 64 of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at her home defeating her long-standing illnesses, most recently cancer. She was born February 22, 1956, in Atlanta, GA, was a devoted mother and wife and a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mrs. Newport is preceded in death by her father Rex Carter, mother Alleen Underwood Hudson, and sister Sandra Batts.

Terry is survived by her husband Charles E. Newport, children Tabetha Newport (Chris) Sullens, Jarred (Jenny) Newport, and Jason Newport, step-children Scott Newport and Ann (Brad) Brown, her beloved companion Porshia, brother Rex Carter, grandchildren Taven Newport, Lexis Sullens, Camron Newport, London Sullens, Zoe Beth Newport, and Abby Pendleton, and special friends Jimmie Eller and Gray Morales.

Funeral services were conducted October 25, 2020. Paul Roberts officiated. Entombment followed in the mausoleum at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Social distancing and wearing facial masks were strongly encouraged.
