Timothy "Tim" Mitchell Burks, age 60, of McMinnville TN died Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born July 14, 1962, in McMinnville, TN, was a member of the Church of Christ, and a retired maintenance employee of Bridgestone Tire Company. Tim loved woodworking and enjoyed working in the yard with flowers and things. He was preceded in death by his parents Isaac Mitchell and Stella Mae Carmack Burks, brothers Horace Burks and Bruce Burks, and sisters Jill Barnes and Judy Capshaw.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years Lisa Collins Burks, son Trey Burks, brothers Kenneth (Sue) Burks, Eddie (Betty) Burks, and Rickey (Lisa) Burks, sisters Nina (David) Hicks, Sue Johnson, Teresa (Trent) Campbell, and Linda (Steve) McGregor, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and interment were conducted February 27, 2023, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Rickey Burks and Steve McGregor officiated.
