Mrs. Tina Renee Byars, age 64, of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, July 21, 2023. She was born February 17, 1959, in McMinnville, TN, was a school bus driver with the Warren County school system, and was of the Baptist faith. She loved reading, crocheting, cross stitch, camping, enjoyed her grandbabies and her dog Tank. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Barbara Hale Carter, husband Michael Joe Byars, grandparents Powell and Sue Carter, Mattie Belle Carter, and Aurthur and Mona Hale.

Survivors include her daughter Chrystal Patton, son Jeremiah (Samantha) King, grandmother Fay Wakeley, sisters Tonia (Larry) Rader and Misty (Andrew) Gross, brothers Aric (Lisa) Carter and Derrick Carter, , grandchildren Michael (Kaitlyn) King, Hailey King, Jaden King, Sarah Rains, Legend King, and a grandchild on the way – Abel, a great grandchild on the way – Motley, special friends Justin and Debbie Hill, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted July 25, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Michael Harris and Danny Hale officiated. Interment followed at Smyrna Cemetery.
