Todd A. Herzog, 78

Todd Allen Herzog (born September 28, 1944) has been called
home to the Lord after a brief illness.

Born in Bradford, PA, Mr. Herzog was a 1966 graduate of the
University of Notre Dame, later earning a Masters of Business
Administration from the University of Buffalo.

In 1976, Mr. Herzog moved his family to Tennessee, becoming the
Director of Marketing at Powermatic. During his tenure he
spearheaded the strategy and sales force for the Accu-Router CNC
line, which he later acquired in 1992 with a group of investors,
fulfilling his lifelong dream of running his own business.

As part of Accu-Router, Mr. Herzog was a long time member of the
Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA),
chairing multiple committees, serving as its President, and receiving its highest honor in 1993, the Ralph
Baldwin "Man of the Year" Award.

Mr. Herzog was just as busy in his free time and retirement, giving back to the community. For years he
interviewed local business owners and wrote a monthly column for the Southern Standard. He was active
with the Business Roundtable Action Committee (founder and chair), Habitat for Humanity of Warren
County (35 houses built since 1998), St. Catherine Church, Noon Rotary, Willowbrook Pro-Am Golf
Tournament (founding volunteer), Industrial Appreciation Day Golf Tournament (chairman), and the
Motlow College Executive Council. He often labored behind the scenes, doing the recruiting and
organizing to ensure success.

Mr. Herzog helped start the Citizens for Progress Scholarship Fund in 2007 which has provided over $1.5
million in financial aid for higher education in Warren County. He was instrumental in bringing
Mechatronics and Robotics to Motlow College and Warren County High School, preparing future
generations for lucrative STEM careers. In 2015 he was recognized as the Tennessee School Board
Association (TSBA) Volunteer of the Year at Gaylord Opryland

An avid sportsman, Mr. Herzog was introduced to golf by his mother at age 40, making a hole-in-one on
Willowbrook #8 in 2013. He was an inaugural Tennessee Titans PSL holder, a die-hard Notre Dame
football fan (escorting a local group to the 1991 Tennessee game), and watched almost every St. Louis
Cardinals game on DirecTV.

Mr. Herzog was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Constance Herzog and daughter Jennifer
Clark. He is survived by Kathleen, his wife of 56 years and partner in all things; his son and golf buddy,
Todd Richard of Mason, OH (wife Jessica, daughter Caroline); brother Tim Herzog of Loudon, TN; sister
Deborah Orlov of Malvern, PA; sister Toby Woodhouse of Corona del Mar, CA; numerous nieces,
nephews, and cousins nationwide and all who were drawn to his vision and determination.

Visitation and rosary service will be held at McMinnville Funeral Home, Monday, June 26 from 4:00
p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A memorial celebration will be held at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, where he
was an active member since 1976, on Tuesday, June 27 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a catered lunch. All are
welcome.
