Obituary

McMinnville resident and DeKalb County native, Vera Imogene Adcock, 99, died August 11, 2020, at N.H.C. Health Care in McMinnville, TN. A homemaker, and a member of the McMinnville Primitive Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late William Wade and Lou Ella Trammel Young, and was preceded in death by five sisters Stella Adcock, Novella Fowler, Girtie Sovzlordo, Birdie West, and Lora West, and one brother Firman Young.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law Harold and Faye Adcock and Joel Adcock, daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Ronnie Pack, one sister Willow Dean Helton all of Warren County, grandchildren Michelle Fults, Billy Pack, Mandy Crowell, Alecia Adcock, Stanton Adcock, and Anissa Meeks, great grandchildren Darby and Sadie Crowell, Dakoda, Dustin, and Lexie Davenport, Austin and Macie Meeks, and Tyla, Trace, and Tenai Adcock, and great-great grandchildren Paisley and Dillon Davenport. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends also survive.

Graveside services and interment were conducted August 14, 2020 at New Bildad Cemetery in Smithville, TN. Elder Ricky Arnold officiated. Family and friends met at the cemetery. There was no visitation at the funeral home.
