Mr. Wayne "Coach" Henry Warner age 81 of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, December 12, 2022 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital. He was born October 11, 1941, in Philadelphia, PA, was an Athletic Director and Coach at St. Andrews-Sewanee. Wayne coached football, track, and baseball. He served as athletic director at S.A.S and coached the Freshman Team at W.C.H.S. He was a teacher at Warren Academy where he taught woodworking and was a Special Ed instructor.

Wayne was a member of Calvary Baptist church and was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Marion Kreener Warner. Survivors include his wife Mary Jo Warner; children Stephen Warner, Matthew (Erica) Warner, and Virginia (David) Cunningham; seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. He leaves behind many memories with his family; and those he taught and coached over the years will remember him fondly.

Mr. Warner was cremated at McMinnville Crematory LLC and a memorial celebration of his life will be planned for a later date.
