Mrs. Wendy Ann Shepherd age 61 of Rock Island, TN, passed away from this life surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 09, 2023 at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.  She was born April 24, 1962, in Wayne, Michigan and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Thomas and Donna Lee Mudry Brewster and her sister Cindy Winegardner.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years John David Shepherd, Jr., children John David (Lydia) Shepherd, III, Amanda Rashel (Charles) Kraus, and Kelly Ann Shepherd, sister Shelley Brewster (Michael) Kowalski, grandchildren Shane Edward Kraus and Lily Ann Kraus, along with many family members and friends.

Memorial services were conducted October 14, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Jason Groe officiated. Mrs. Shepherd was cremated at McMinnville Crematory LLC
