Mr. William Corey Thomas Scott Murphy, age 35, of Warren County, TN was taken too soon from this life on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. He was born on February 05, 1991 in McMinnville, TN. He worked in manufacturing as a welder and was skilled at what he did. He found great joy in helping and serving others. In previous years, he loved to fish and hunt. He turned his life around and became an inspiration to many. Corey had a light that shined bright and was encouraging to those who crossed his path. The love he had for the Lord and his family was a testament to who he really was. His little girl had a special place in his heart and had him wrapped around her finger from the very beginning.

He leaves behind his parents Angie Simmons Bouldin (Chuck Matheney) and William Thomas Murphy, daughter Whitley Lynn Murphy, sister Abbygail Lynn Bouldin Terrell, brothers Liddel Thomas Murphy and Joshua Murphy, and maternal grandparents Gary and Sue Rickman. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and several close friends that he thought a lot of also survive.

A celebration of life for Corey Murphy will be from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Covenant Fellowship Church, 7225 Manchester Hwy., Morrison, TN  37357.
