Mr. William Cole Newby, age 26 of McMinnville, TN died Tuesday, May 04, 2021 at his residence. He was born September 14, 1994 in McMinnville, TN, was an assembly worker at Tennessee Metal Fabrication in Rock Island, Tennessee, and a member of Cumberland Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Cole loved his boys and his family more than anything, he enjoyed welding, was an avid football fan especially the Auburn Tigers and the Green Bay Packers, and genuinely liked spending time outdoors. He was preceded in death by his mother Rhonda Jean Newby, maternal grandparents Arnold Fuston and Melba Jean Cantrell Watts, paternal grandparents William Harris and Lorene McCormick Newby, and his aunt Faye Nunley.

Cole is survived by his wife Ashlyn Grae Newby, sons William Ledger Newby and Lincoln Grey Newby, father Wendell Newby, sister and brother-in-law Shelley and Rusty Smith, brother and sister-in-law Craig and Sadie Newby, uncle Paul Nunley, and nieces Brooklyn Newby, Macie Kate Newby, and Londyn Smith. Many other family members and friends also survive.

Funeral services were conducted May 08, 2021 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Dennis Deweese officiated. Interment followed at Centertown Cemetery.
