Mr. William J.R. Pleasant, age 86, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at his residence. He was born on January 18, 1939 and worked in agriculture as a nurseryman. He was of the Christian faith and loved working on cars, doing yard work, and fishing. He is preceded in death by parents William Emerson Pleasant and Elma Louise Carr Pleasant, wife Pamela Elaine Bullard Pleasant, daughter Kelly Denise Pleasant, brothers Eugene Albert Pleasant, and Charles E. Pleasant, sister Betty Pleasant, and grandson Dominique Pinegar.

Survivors include his children Brandy Christine Pinegar, Vanessa Renee Pinegar, Randall William Pleasant, William Steven Pleasant, step children Brian Hale, Nathan Hale, his devoted caregiver Holly Hale, 14 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 21, 2025 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Michael Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery at Martin Charge. The Pleasant family will receive friends on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 12:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. in the McMinnville Funeral Home parlors.
