Mrs. Willie Delorese Holt age 80 of McMinnville, TN, died Sunday, September 15, 2019, at her residence. She was born February 28, 1939, in Smithville, TN, was preceded in death by parents Willie Herman and Vella Hazel Cope Barnes, her husband Major Dillard Holt, and brothers Mel Barnes and Jerry Barnes. Mrs. Holt was a retired employee of 17 years of service with Batesville Casket Company and was previously employed with Spartan's Shirt Factory, Levi Strauss, owner and operator of E-Z Wear, Mid-town Garment, and a member of New Union The Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter Denice (Dave) McCormick-Kreiger, grandchildren Ryan Adcock and Dana (Greg) West, great-granddaughters Sadie West, Shelby West, and Chloe Adcock, step great-grandchildren Elijah Perez and Lacora Nelson, brothers Justin "Tink" Barnes and James Harvey (Lisa) Barnes, sisters Janie (Edward) Hutchings and Patsy (Roy) Ray (best friend and caregiver), sister-in-law Kaye Barnes. Special friends Nancy Sherrell, Wilma Thower, Lynn Cole, Ramie and Joyce Lawson, and Latreva Perez. Many special nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 18, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Jason L. Lewis will officiate. Interment will follow at New Union Cemetery in DeKalb County, TN. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
